2 Days in the Sahara Desert at Zagora

• Agadir to Zagora Sahara Desert via Taznakht & Taliouine: 

We’ll depart from Agadir towards Zagora for an adventure into the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we’ll visit Berber villages, the saffron capital of Taliouine, and the Berber carpet capital of Taznakht, where we’ll have lunch before reaching Zagora. We’ll make stops to admire the High Atlas Mountains, kasbahs, and palm oasis.

Once in the desert, you’ll have the opportunity for a camel ride at sunset or sunrise on the second day. We’ll spend the night in nomadic tents, and after dinner, immerse ourselves in local music with the residents while marveling at the starry sky in the Sahara’s serene silence.

• Zagora Sahara Desert Return to Agadir Via Ouarzazate

The second day of the return journey to Agadir will commence early to savor the sunrise and the final moments in the Sahara. After breakfast, we’ll traverse the High Atlas Mountains and several Berber villages to reach Ouarzazate, known as the African Hollywood. We’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios before heading to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah for free time and lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll hit the road back to Agadir, usually arriving in the late afternoon.
